Keeping our Staff and Clients Safe 

It’s been a strange and confusing time for us all, but at Garie Nigel Hairwork, we are doing all we can to keep everyone as safe as possible whilst in the salon during the Covid-19 Pandemic 

PLEASE TAKE A MOMENT TO READ OUR SAFETY STATEMENT BEFORE YOUR APPOINTMENT 

From 4 July 2020, our first return from lockdown, Garie Nigel Hairwork decided to work in two teams.   Each team worked completely independently, on different days/shifts.   This minimised the risk of spreading Covid-19 as there were fewer clients and staff in the salon at any one time, giving the space to social distance.   Also, if one team member became unwell, we were able to isolate that team only, whilst the other could continue to work.

We have now taken the decision to work as one team again, and, from 3 August 2021, the salon will be open from Tuesday to Saturday.

Although you/we are no longer required to wear masks, we will continue to do so for the time being.   We request that whilst you ae in the salon you continue to do so too, unless you are exempt.

We were already using disposable (single use) towels before the pandemic and will continue to do so.   When we returned to the salon after the first lockdown, we started using disposable gowns and aprons.   We have taken the decision to continue to do so.   We have weighed up the cost to the environment against washing and tumble drying and consider this to be of no greater detriment.

Please arrive promptly for your appointment.   If you arrive late and only part of your service can be carried out, the whole appointment will be charged.

•

On arrival, please either wash your hands or use the hand sanitiser gels\sprays provided.

•

We have purchased a spray disinfectant to use on brushes and any equipment which cannot be placed in the Barbicide jars.

•

Each chair/unit will be cleaned after a client leaves.

•

There is a screen between the clients and our Receptionist.

•

If you no longer require your appointment, please cancel within 48 hours.   Failure to do so will unfortunately incur a 50% charge of the full service booked.   We have a cancellation list and are able to offer these appointments to waiting clients.

HOWEVER, IF YOU FEEL UNWELL, PLEASE DO NOT VISIT US, BUT CANCEL AS SOON AS YOU HAVE SYMPTONS.

We are delighted to say that magazines are once again available in the salon to read.

Payment for your appointment can be made by cash, debit or credit card.

We are so pleased to be able to welcome you back to our ‘new normal’ way of working.   If you have any concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us.
